Gentex will showcase an all-new aircraft mockup featuring the company's latest aerospace technologies at the upcoming NBAA Business Aviation Convention & Exhibition in Las Vegas.

Electronically Dimmable Window

Within aerospace, Gentex is best known for supplying aircraft manufacturers with electronically dimmable windows (EDWs) that darken on demand to cut sunlight while still providing an exterior view. EDWs improve the flying experience, enhance aircraft design flexibility, and enable airlines to give their customers and crew more control over the view out of their windows. 

Gentex biometric systems authenticate passengers and personalize the in-flight experience.

Gentex is also raising the in-flight experience with concept technologies to drive innovation and improve the performance of the aviation industry, making air travel safer, more comfortable, and more efficient for passengers and crew members alike. 

The all-new aircraft mockup demonstrator on display at NBAA-BACE features EDWs and other emerging technology features such as passenger smart lighting; biometric authentication and personalization; and in-cabin air quality sensing.
