ZEELAND, MICHIGAN, January 27, 2026 – When the Michigan International Auto Show kicks of Thursday afternoon, visitors to Gentex Corporation’s (NASDAQ: GNTX) booth will be able to experience premium car audio from the company’s newly acquired Klipsch Audio brand, and take in the critically acclaimed, awe-inspiring design of OCTAVIA, a fully custom 1971 Aston Martin DBS from the world-renowned Ringbrothers.

Gentex is a technology company and long-time supplier of electronic products for the global automotive, aerospace, fire protection, medical, and consumer electronics industries. The company is Ottawa County’s largest employer and has expanded into Grand Rapids with a satellite manufacturing facility in the Madison Square neighborhood and a tech-hub engineering center downtown.

“This year, we’re offering a feast for the eyes and ears,” said Craig Piersma, Gentex vice president of marketing and corporate communications. “For the first time, our booth will feature a vehicle with our Klipsch Premium Audio system. And we’re once again showcasing a custom car from Ringbrothers, the nation’s preeminent custom car builder. OCTAVIA is a ‘must see’ -- the most celebrated Ringbrothers vehicle yet created!”

OCTAVIA is indeed the biggest, most ambitious, and highly acclaimed Ringbrothers build to date. It’s a fully bespoke 1971 Aston Martin DBS, engineered to reimagine this icon of British motoring as a wholly modern and tech-rich car. It was unveiled in August at The Quail, A Motorsports Gathering in Carmel California, part of Monterey Car Week, and was displayed to the public for the first time at the SEMA car show in Las Vegas in November.

“We’re excited to bring Ringbrothers back to Grand Rapids,” said Piersma. Octavia combines American muscle with English sophistication. Plus, it features special tech from Gentex like dimmable sun visors, a camera-based digital rearview mirror, custom exterior mirrors, and more.”

The Klipsch Premium Audio system is featured in an Infiniti QX80, courtesy of Infiniti of Grand Rapids. The system includes a segment-first, 24-speaker Klipsch Reference Premiere Audio system (standard on Sensory/Autograph trims) delivering 1,200 watts, 24-channel amplification, and 3D surround sound. Key features include titanium tweeters, an 8-inch TriPower™ subwoofer, and front-seat headrest speakers for personalized audio that isolates phone calls/navigation to the driver. Gentex obtained the Klipsch brand last spring when it acquired VOXX International.

Gentex’s booth at the show will also highlight some of its digital vision, connectivity, sensing, and dimmable glass technologies. Gentex HR representatives will be on hand should anyone be interested in exploring employment opportunities. Gentex is known for its world-class facilities, excellent benefits, tremendous work perks, generous bonus structure, and a unique corporate culture that values innovation.

This year’s Michigan International Auto Show runs January 29 through February 1, 2026, at DeVos Place in downtown Grand Rapids. The show is hosted annually by the Grand Rapids New Car Dealers Association and produced by ShowSpan, Inc. It showcases hundreds of production vehicles from more than two dozen global manufacturers, including sedans, vans, SUVs, trucks, hybrids, sports cars, and more. Vintage cars will also be well represented thanks to a display of collection favorites from the Gilmore Car Museum.
