Gentex Community Share Raises $200,000 for Nonprofits

With the Gentex company match, Community Share donations for 2024 reached $200,000! ‌

Community Share provides Gentex employees with the opportunity to join together to make a lasting impact in the West Michigan community through financial support. Contributions are enabled through voluntary payroll deductions and periodic fundraisers. All employee contributions are completely optional.‌

‌To strengthen the impact of individual contributions, Gentex matches employee payroll deductions and other fundraising achievements up to a certain amount per year.

In addition, this past year funds were also raised through sales of a special Gentex anniversary beer series, produced in collaboration with Tripelroot Brewery.  A donation was made to Community Share for every anniversary beer sold.

‌Donation checks were distributed to the following organizations: 

• Community Action House
• Good Samaritan Ministries
• Resilience
• Gateway Mission
• Lakeshore Habitat for Humanity
• ‌Kids’ Food Basket
